Today, the world turns its attention to the ground beneath our feet, but at Balean, we're looking at the water that surrounds us.
We simply cannot celebrate the Earth without celebrating the ocean. Seventy-one percent of our blue planet is water. The ocean isn't just a backdrop to life on Earth; it is the reason life is possible at all. It produces more than half of the oxygen in every breath we take, absorbs the vast majority of heat from global warming, and sustains the food systems of billions. To protect our planet is to protect our seas.
This Earth Day, we want to move beyond appreciation and into action .
