Scientific Synergy: Welcoming Utrecht University
We're thrilled to officially welcome a talented team from Utrecht University to the Balean family. Their expertise is helping us bridge the gap between complex marine data and meaningful Citizen Science, turning curious citizens into ocean guardians.
In collaboration with Collen Kriel, the UU team is exploring how Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) can be strengthened through community participation. Reliable data is the bedrock of conservation, and we're building the tools to make that data accessible to everyone.
